Template Toolkit 3 Funding
james writes "Here at the Fotango we use the Template Toolkit quite a bit, and we know Andy Wardley, its author, quite well. So when the question of funding for Template Toolkit came up, we were more than happy to oblige. For more information Andy has set up a website at http://www.template-toolkit.org/tt3/ and Fotango's press release is below". Rocking.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Fotango to Fund Development of the Template Toolkit
LONDON, UK (December 5, 2003) Fotango is pleased to announce
funding for the development of version 3 of the Template Toolkit.
Their commitment will allow its author, Andy Wardley, to work full-time
for 4 months on the design and implementation of the latest version of
this successful open source software project.
The Template Toolkit has established itself as one of the most popular
choices for generating web content and managing presentation aspects
of Perl-based web applications. Like many other organisations, Fotango
has come to rely on its use of the Template Toolkit as an important part
of its software strategy and is pleased to be supporting its ongoing
development. "The Template Toolkit is a fantastic tool" says Pierre Denis,
Development Manager for Fotango. "It is fundamental to many of our
projects, and with this funding the Template Toolkit will only get better."
Fotango is a creative solutions group providing consultancy on software
projects. Fotango employs a large number of open source contributors and
releases much of its own software as open source. Fotango is based in
London, UK. http://opensource.fotango.com/

They contain a lot of Andy's thoughts so far and give a good idea of what we can expect from tt3.
