  • It's the third year in a row, starting in 2001, that the site tells us to "Read the documenentation on CPAN".

I don't know who is responsible for the whole site, all I know is that its origin is somewhere in the London.pm Perl Mongers group. I hope somebody there picks this up, and can forward the message.

  • My mother has loved Advent calendars all my life, first little cardboard picture ones and then shadow-box ones with little decorative ornaments inside. I was so happy to find this site ?two? years ago, it's one I can enjoy, with no theological hypocrisy, and feel good about checking at work.

    Thanks!

    Bill.

PS -- for a goofy animated advent calendar probably unrelated to Perl, the BBC Sport site has a rude one. [bbc.co.uk] I don't think I'll check that one at work!
