As long as she doesn't expect it to handle like a sports car ... and it's not one of the early toe-in-trouble models ...
Some of us are saving gas driving SUVs ... my previous "commuter car" was a long-body Econoline with a V8 circa 1985, so the SUV is smaller, lighter, and more fuel-efficient -- and when I leave it in the driveway and take public transit to work I save even more gase.
