Moz 0.9.9

[ #3470 ]

I'm off to download 0.9.9 on my laptop to try it out. Let's see, I'm on dial-up for the rest of the day and the Moz FTP servers are probably bogged down from all the downloads. So, should be installed just before bedtime then:-)

  • Well, if you're interested I've got it mirrored at home.drewtaylor.com/mozilla_0_9_9/ [drewtaylor.com]. This is behind a 384kb DSL uplink, so the FTP servers will probably be faster if you can hit them.

  • I downloaded it for Solaris. I attempt to start it - some generic stuff is sent to stdout/stderr (which I hate, btw), but nothing actually *happens*.

Ok. The README file says I need 2 patches. I went to the Sun web site and found the patches, only to be told that they weren't available for download.

    So, now what?
