Grrrr

[ #4896 ]

Someone released a version of Net::DNS to CPAN!!! [link]. This really pisses me off. I take a couple weeks off of a project to pay attention to classes and not get kicked out of school, and someone goes and walks all over what I'm trying todo. Now there's people out there with a two year old devel version of Net::DNS. I'm going to have to go and change my version numbers, so that my upcoming release is 'newer' then this one.

Does anyone know how to get it yanked from CPAN?

  • Did the person who did this know what the heck they were doing? Have you had a talk with this person?
    • His CPAN id is BBB [cpan.org]. I've emailed him, but he hasn't replied yet. I also dropped a note to modules@perl.org. Now I just sit and wait.
