He wrote Perl that looked suspiciously like C code in 1998, while working as an intern, and has been trying to cure that bad habit ever since.

Another plea or rant for sanity in Java APIs.. Wonder if this guy will get flamed as badly (completed with personal attacks) as James Turner from a few weeks back.
Didn't feel like fuelling the flames this time, seeing one response from last time around sort of sickened me.
