Recently I was conscripted for a freelance job that required some design work. The various design packages available for Linux (thanks for the suggestions!) left me completely unsatisfied. I bit the bullet and rebooted -- into Windows.
Using Photoshop and Illustrator again regularly in the first time for, say, 3/4ths of a year has incurred the biggest wave of design inspiration since I bought Reason towards the end of high school: The first piece I created with it remains one of my best, and I even convinced one of my teachers to let me create a musical final project.
Anyway, I finished the intial draft of the freelance project design, which was a big hurdle. Then I spent some time sprucing up langworth.com and the title banner images. Now on to the TODO, which is mostly Perl-oriented.

Oh yeah, cool thing of the week is the Creative Commons and their licenses.
Especially the CC-GPL, which explains the GNU GPL in plain English (and Portgeugese!).
