ubuntu, compiz

[ #29045 ]

I'm really impressed by Ubuntu. It's just so... polished...

And now I just installed Compiz on Xgl. At first I thought something was wrong. I logged into Gnome, but I was expecting... I don't know, like an awesome demo or something. So I went back to that page, thinking maybe he had tips in case something went wrong. As I dragged the firefox window over a little, I noticed that it... rippled... It was like Neo touching the silver gooey mirror before leaving the Matrix. I did an OMFG while LOL. :) Since then I've read page two from the above link, and have now rotated my desktop out of the way. It's just unreal.. I've wanted a 3-d desktop for a long time, and it seems to be coming together now.
