Office Tent

[ #8887 ]
So, I'm sitting in my cube today, merrily typing along, when I notice one of my office mates on a ladder examining one of the light enclosures which overhangs one of the cubes next to mine. It's filling with the brownish yellow liquid.

As a side note as to how one might come to notice this, our offices were placed within the building many, many years ago -- back when the big brains thought it a good idea to place all computer equipment in the basement. Rrunning directly over our office is one of the main sewer pipes. So, we tend to keep an eye on these things ...

Anyway, the guy who sits under the light -- and with whom I share a wall -- is on vacation today. So, some guys come in and drape this huge plastic tarp over his office. And in order to keep it in place, they have to drape it over my cube as well.

I spent the day in a tent.
