Perl Classes

[ #7583 ]
Several months ago, I started teaching Perl to my team mates. Due to various emergencies and the convergence of several other untimely events, I had to cancel the class. Simply put, no one had time to attend, and I didn't have time to properly prepare.

But, I'm planning to start all over in October. This class has been blessed by upper management, and is somewhat highly visible (i.e., systems programmers are not the only attendees).

I know the question has been asked ad nauseum, and I've read almost every thread on PerlMonks that I can find, but if anyone has suggestions as to course content, outlines, etc., I'd appreciate it. Some know how to program, and others don't have a clue, and I'm having a difficult time finding the right balance.

Hell or high water, it's gonna happen.
