I'm putting together a very rudimentary mod_perl 2 tutorial / guide. The HTML sucks etc, but content suggestions are welcome ...

You might want to integrate your tutorials into the mod_perl website: perl.apache.org [apache.org]. I'm sure Stas appreciates any input..
This [apache.org] and the following two chapters are a very good introduction on how to contribute to the (exccelent) mod_perl documentation

I want to second the suggestion of adding your work to the main docs. The group would appreciate it, and more people will find it that way.
