EMCAScript 3 - 4 == Perl 4 - 5?
David Wheeler points out that the EMCAScript 4 Proposal from Netscape (which is basically JavaScript 2.0) has additions for Classes, Namespaces, Packages and Pragmas.
Including... wait for it... use strict!
because that's exactly how much difference there is. :-)
