[ #8178 ]

Seeing as I have opinions on many more things than just Perl, I've decided to fork my journalling brain into a more traditional web-log to supplement this one. Unlike others who've eschewed use.perl.org entirely, I will be continuing to post things to do with Perl and related technologies here. But I've always felt a little strange asking non-programmer friends to read my journal here, for things like the California Extreme write-up and all. Now, people who really want to read it all can, but they can also choose what they read. They can even choose to read none of it :-).

The new journal may be reached at http://www.rjray.org, a quietly non-pretentious URL :-). It runs blosxom, and it enabled with Movable Type-style TrackBack functionality, so I'll be occassionally cross-pollenating between this journal and that one.

The problem with America is stupidity. I'm not saying there should be a capital punishment for stupidity, but why don't we just take the safety labels off of everything and let the problem solve itself? -- Anon IRC Quote
