The Books of Perl

[ #14744 ]

Dear Die-ary,

Today, I happened across books.perl.org and their nifty index of Perl books and rating thereof. But there must not be many people visiting, as so few of the titles have been rated by more than 3-5 readers.

Perhaps I can help draw attention to this terrible plight and encourage more people to visit.

  • But there must not be many people visiting...

Probably because people are not aware it even exists. Until you mentioned it, I was one of those people. I don't remember seeing the link on perl.org the last time I visited. I dunno maybe it was there and I just missed it...
    • It was going to be announced along with the new perl.org, but that got delayed, and then books.perl.org got delayed (and it's still not quite where I want it).

Google finds it well enough for most books and that's where the majority of hits come from, with a reasonable amount from perl.org now it's had its redesign.

Now to finish the reviews code...
