I'm a Perl coder living in Bethlehem, PA and working Philadelphia. I'm a philosopher and theologan by training, but I was shocked to learn upon my graduation that these skills don't have many associated careers. Now I write code.

my slides from yapc::na

[ #33833 ]

I thought I'd posted these already, but it was brought to my attention that I only sent them to the YAPC list.

I gave two fifty-minute talks at YAPC in Houston this year. The first was Crafting Custom Interfaces with Sub::Exporter. The other was How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love Email::: the 2007 PEP Talk!!!.

I've uploaded my slides to Slidshare, as you can see. It's not great, but it's easy and adequate. Both of those talks are greatly diminished without narration, not only because you don't get to hear my sonorous baritone, but because much of the explanation of the slides is strictly narrated, not displayed. Still, it's something.

  • Where's the grammar you proposed? I urgently need it!
    • Following all this hoopla about git on p5p, I thought I'd try putting my talks in git, and this one seems to have vanished. I'm not sure if it's because of a problem with the porcelain or one with the plumbing, but I'll see if I can't flush it out. In the meantime, just keep asking the guy next to you. He'll appreciate your concern.
