An interesting day for those of us that splash about in the DBMS end of the pool:
- Sun to acquire MySQL (tho for the life of me I can't figure out why...)
- Oracle to acquire BEA
- DBD::Pg 2.0 almost ready, with some nifty new features
- Proof that I'm not alone in my SQL madness affliction.
about I/O disciplines and I should retire to the Tassili-in-Aijer
mountains in Sahara as a camel herder :-)
