About Steve Coleman
Do you know Steve Coleman ? He's an avant-garde jazz musician (alto saxophonist) and composer (and I like his music very much). He began to distribute freely CDs to the audience of its concerts -- those CDs being not available for sale. About this he says :
This recording is the first in a series of recordings that explore alternative methods of creating and distributing music. These recordings are available free of charge to the public! where they continued to hone their developing concept of improvisation within nested looping structures, the foundation upon which Coleman and friends call the M-Base concept.
Is it just me, or does that sound like anyone else's programming style?
