Trying to compile 5.6.1 and/or 5.8.0 RC 2 on a AIX machine. Getting segfaults during the build process.
Turns out that an old version of the C compiler is installed. The README suggests to upgrade. And that's just the beginning : I have to install mod_perl after that.
Or is it a BUG?"
