LJ is not totally evil (Score:2)
I have a LJ account (rjray) that I almost never post to. I use it instead to track my LJ-using friends. This also allows those friends to add me as a "friend", so that I can view their restricted entries.
If I didn't have my vanity domain [rjray.org] that I run blosxom [raelity.org] off of, I'd probably use the LJ account more.
