The new miniseries on SciFi from Steven Spielberg, Taken, begins tonight and continues every weeknight for two weeks, two hours a night. That's 20 hours. I am not a superviewer! Uncle!

  • It'll come out on DVD. Then you can rent the first 8 hours or so and decide if you like it or not. Something like this just screams out DVD marketing, much the way "Band of Brothers" did.

  • I do have Band of Brothers on DVD. As with Band of Brothers, I'll buy it later if I like it on TV. I don't see what advantage renting it has over watching it for free (apart from the digital surround sound, probably ...).
