I help with Melbourne Perl Mongers.
I spend an awful lot of time talking about Perl, and have had my picture in the Australian newspapers with a camel. That's rather scary.
Played the Frozen Bubble game. Completely hooked. Compeltely agree that Dan should write a version in Parrot.

Why are you volunteering Dan? Parrot development, like Perl development, is mostly volunteer driven - Dan's paid job is not developing Parrot, although he has now con(vinc)ed work to use it. And in volunteer organisations the world over things don't get started because someone asks someone else to implement their great idea, things get started because someone is motivated to scratch their own itch.
Hence why not implement it in parrot yourself?
Aaah - I think I know - you're too busy playing it :-)

Dan made a joke about using the Frozen Bubble game as a Parrot demo for OSDC [osdc.com.au]. My journal entry was merely intended as a continuation of that joke. ;)
