I run Perl Training Australia [perltraining.com.au].

I help with Melbourne Perl Mongers.

I spend an awful lot of time talking about Perl, and have had my picture in the Australian newspapers with a camel. That's rather scary.

Tasks for today

[ #19587 ]

Today is the last day of financial year. I have a few tasks to finish, along with expected work remaining.

  • Write group certificates for all employees (2 hrs).
  • Deal with old .org.au domains that risk being de-registered (30 mins).
  • Provide quotes for two customers on programming and sysadmin work (2 hrs).
  • Finish review and extra chapters of Perl Security course to be held at SAGE-AU 2004 (6 days)
  • Release new Proc::UID module suitable for BSD flavoured systems (5-10 hrs, incl testing).
  • Touch base with numerous people who I've promised articles for, letting them know progress (30 mins).
  • Rejoice that Wednesday is not the first day of next month, and I have an extra week to prepare for my next talk at Melbourne.PM (done)
  • Do last minute changes to finances to make my tax return easier for 2004-05 (2 hrs)
