St. Louis Perl considered harmful

The first time I went to St. Louis on Perl-related business was YAPC 2002. While I was there, my grandfather died.

Fast-forward to last Wednesday to my next trip to St. Louis, when I drove down to talk to the St. Louis Perl Mongers about testing. The next morning at 2:30, Amy's dad died.

My talk on Wednesday was well-received, and I promised I'd come back and give an advanced version, but I'm afraid of someone else I love not surviving...
