Minneapolis layover
I'm writing this from a phone booth in the Minneapolis airport, on my way home via Milwaukee. All the phone booths have AC outlets in 'em! Cool! It beats scrounging for an outlet at O'Hare on the way out.
The Portland and Milwaukee airports are very mall-like, even more than O'Hare. Big honkin' food courts, and lots of entertainment options. The wireless access ($7/day) is provided by a place that rents DVD movies and players. Down the way, there's a kiosk selling CDs. Unfortunately, it's playing that new Cher farewell hits comp, so I get to hear all of her terribleness.
