Dipsy everywhere

[ #1643 ]

So, there I am, evaluating Kannel (an open source sms/wap gateway which is very nice...) with an eye to adding the SEMA protocol to our core by, ahem, throwing our core out and replacing it with kannel and I was casting round for possible applications...

And then it occured to me that Leon had wrapped dipsy, the infobot up in a webservice... After which it was a simple matter of five lines of config and six lines of perl and now you can send an sms to dipsy (the number isn't publicized 'cos we haven't got reverse billing sorted out yet) saying something like dipsy seen acme?, and mere seconds later you'll get texted back with the information that

acme was last seen on 12 minutes and 24 seconds ago, saying: it's not an online gallery, it's about printing digital pictures. fwiw we'll be dropping

Hmm... too many chars, must see about adding a compression filter. Anyway, it's reasonably cool.
