Engineering fairies
- Bad news
- The engineering fairy has waved her wand and turned all my trains into buses.
- Good news
- including a half hour service until beyond midnight, which we don't get when we have real trains.
Very confusing. I don't know whether to love her or hate her. On our "train" there were 5 people. 2 of whom got off at Grove Park. So that left 3 for "Elmstead Woods, Chislehurst, Petts Wood and Orpington." Hmm. It really isn't that busy at this time of night. But I'd really like this half hour service. Particularly a train at 23:30 from London Bridge. Gah. Not fair. It seems that there's no real business case to grant my wish. Maybe I should wish for something more substantial, esoteric, awkward or otherwise unbelievable.
