I've just been phoned up by an item of pond life about a possible job.

I can't say that I'd even recommend him to McDonalds. I certainly don't think that he deserves to be get any further work at his current (cold) calling.

I am told that fotango++ no longer require his services. (Although one should note that Fotango are currently still recruiting.)
In turn, I should add, that I hope that he learns from this and raises his standards.
