What does Google's reaction to exp(pi i) tell you about the people who work there?

  • That they were not sleeping in the classes of complex math?
  • The fact that exp((pi/2)*i) doesn't evaluate to the right thing shows me that they are into agile methods and extreme programming.
  • Clearly, it means that we can now write a little screen scraping code, put that into dispy and get to start purl-dispy flooding in the most evil way that's possibly conceivable.

  • That they're smarter than the average bear.

Although I prefer the form that unites ALL the major constants,

    e**(pi*i) + 1 = 0

That new skool-marm is fillin' the chilluns' heads with nonsense. Why, everyone knows pie are ROUND; CORNBREAD are SQUARE.
