"Live" departure boards

[ #27763 ]

So Greg did a talk at the London Perl Workshop about making an alarm clock that reacts to his train running late, getting the delay data from the Live Departure Boards. So this morning I try them for the first time to see where my train is. It's OK, but the train 20 minutes earlier is about 15 minutes late. "Bugger", I think, "I can't quite get their early enough to catch that". So I leave at my normal time

However, when I actaully get to the station, it's just leaving - it's now 19 minutes late. And, the bunch of liars, my train is now 10 minutes late.

Well, at least I can reach my home wireless from the platform, so I can do useful things. :-)
