Pimps, er, sorry, recruitment consultants e-mail me trying to tempt me into jobs I don't need. I usually reply politely declining their lures, explaining that I'm gainfully employed. I also try to mention as a site they might want to advertise on. They are often are unaware of this, and are very happy to learn of it. Here's a typical response:

Thanks for the heads up on the Perl jobsite. This is a great help and not one that I have come across.

  • Help save the world
  • Help get your friends laid, er hired
  • Help promote Perl to employers by demonstrating that it's easy to hire good Perl people
  • Give the big, unweildy, hard to use commercial jobs sites some market pressure to improve
  • Tell recruiters about
