I'm sure I'll enjoy the MP3 when I have quiet time to listen. Flicking through the slides was a pleasant reminder of both the Damian's message and Randal's light touch. Borges was right, the interpretation with a different perspective does bring new meaning.

I would be interested in hearing some of your dissenting opinions on some of the practices. Not being very experienced in Perl and having the book I can see why Damian says what he does.
Maybe dissentions make for too long of talks though...
