Iain Campbell Truskett ("Spoon") RIP 2003-12-29

According to his girlfriend's blog, Spoon passed away from a cardiac arrest at the age of 24. He was a significant contributor to the CPAN, and frequently interacted with us on the Perl IRC channels. His wiki is still up for perusal. He will be missed.

Rest In Peace, my friend.

    Spoon and I were regulars on a number of the same channels, and I'd been wondering for some time where he was. What a terrible thing.

    He was one of the people, I think, who exemplified the Perl community: competent, friendly, and good-natured. He'll certainly be missed.
