Pragmatic Programming

[ #3915 ]
Well, after stupid April Fool's Day stories drove me off the 'net for the afternoon, I was able to finish The Pragmatic Programmer, by Andrew Hunt and David Thomas.

Excellent book. Highly recommended. I was nodding my head in agreement pretty much the whole time I was reading it.

(That link goes to bookpool.com, which is also highly recommended. Of course, the book is out-of-stock there at this particular moment.)

  • I had the pleasure of meeting both Andy and Dave at the Ruby Conference last year. They're both nice guys.

I had the honor of being Andy's partner for collecting ideas for the next version of the Application Archive. Lots of CPAN ideas borrowed. :)
