Arrived in America

[ #15416 ]

Arrived in the states on Saturday. Got thoroughly searched by the border police/control, whatever you call it. I won't go so far to say that they are discriminating upon age (But I think they do :)

I went to the Price of Prussia mall and Atlantic City. Nothing to see there. I spend some time in the old city of Philadelphia, but it was a little too late/dark to really get an impression of the place.

Today I met the first person who liked assemlby better that any other programming language. This is gonna be fun!

  • Oooooh yeah! I love M68K assembly language. It's poetry! I was disappointed when Apple switched to PPC.

(Well, OK, I was very happy except in that one way.)

I keep an old Mac 7200 around so I can go back to the days of M68K assembly and TMON (nostalgic [] links []). (Of course, I never actually go back, but it's nice to know I could.)

What I really want to do (deep down in my heart of hearts) is implement a Self-like OO system in M68K assembly. Nirvana!!
