Hey mambo

[ #22839 ]
I've never liked PHP. I've not really had a fondness for ASP either, or JSP - anything, actually, which invites anything into the presentation layer that effects anything other than document layout.

So its with some trepidation that I am going to install mambo onto a linux box I've got kicking around. I'd have liked to use a perl CMS, but mambo seems to have everything I need ( and I need a CMS quick ) - a killer app for PHP.

I'll see how it goes, I do however have a dirty feeling that I can only equate with putting a jumper on after a shower that I wore the night before in a smokey pub.

  • I've used it for over a year and it's great.

    • That looks quite cool, although I just fired myself up a demo account and the interface looked a tad intimidating - although its probably nothing I can't get my head around with a little effort, I'll google myself up an introductory tutorial and have a blast soon though. Interesting business model too.
