E-R database design tool
started searching for a nice gui for designing databases. Found a couple on sourceforge:
Druid looks the most promising, as it does a similar thing to what I require, only for java. I'll have to give it a test and see how extensible it is.

slightly less relevently - I have a druid db schema parser that generates Dia and other stuff from it in Autodia.

Following up on my original post - I've had a look at druid, and whilst it seemed quite promising at first, I wasn't able to do a great deal with it practically, and it did seem to be very java focussed. I'd have to write a plug in in java to allow it to generate perl, which doesn't sit too easily with me.
