As the nights draw in

[ #15537 ]
I've been a bit busy with halloween activities and socialising this last week, so haven't managed to do a great deal of perl stuff, or make a move on this debian box. I did manage to present a short talk on some of the ideas for the film at birmingham perl mongers technical talk, which also gave me a chance to install and have a play with open office on win32. Although I haven't done a great deal with it yet, first impressions are quite good - very reminiscent to the free version of star office. I've also promised to write my first perl module and present a talk on it for our january technical meeting, which will be an intersting experience.

Other than that, I found this site whilst surfing today: http://tlc.perlarchive.com/articles/perl/. I would post a link to the front page, but I google-hopped to this point. It seems to be a repository of some perl articles.
