What people are looking for
Guess what two of the top 10 search phrases for people hitting my site contained? Nothing to do with patterns, or even programming. No weird sexual phrases accidentally referenced in blog posts. (Let's make one up now: the "dusty parthenon".)
Here it is: roasted beets. That people are turning to my geek site for my meager advice -- copied from elsewhere! -- on these delicious veggies means the food sites need some serious googlejuice...
