Hi everyone. I want to know about manners that release CPAN modules. Please teach me.
I took over many CPAN modules. I want to inform everyone that person who maintain these CPAN modules changed. What should I do?
I think I should add my name to documents. What section is proper? AUTHOR(S)? I might have to increase the version, but any code has not changed. Is this appropriate as release?
I am a newbie of PAUSE. I do not have an experience enough to release CPAN modules. I want to learn polite way to release CPAN modules. Please teach me. thanks.
I met Perl at May 2002.
At that time I worked a rental video shop. I want to learn programming language because I want to use some CGI programs (access counter, BBS, etc.)
So I bought "Learning Perl" book, and read it. But it is bit difficult for me then.
Next year (2003), I hired on as apprentice of programmer by a small company. This company sell web application written by Perl. So I challanged leran Perl again. I did not know CPAN at the time.
I just signup use Perl; reason for introduce me in YAPC::Asia 2007 official wiki page!
I want to write about `technology and me' not only Perl but also other languages, softwares, and hardwares.
