Huzzah! Journal Topics, & mst recently posted friend entries

[ #5152 ]

I've finally found where the 'Journal Topic' field is actually shown by use.perl.

Here! Of course, most people are just using the default topic (since the icon isn't displayed anywhere else that I can see). Find someone who is a fan of me and look at their amigos page.

Plus, the amigos page is useful anyway in finding the new journal postings since one last visited.

  • I took off the journal topic icons on the standard journal theme, and the guy who wrote the "amigos" functionality didn't use the journal themes for its look and feel, so it didn't carry over. And I never use that functionality, so I never "fixed" the template.
    • Out of interest, if the themes don't care about Topic, why does the 'Write in Journal' page use it?

      • Because I never removed it. :-)

And someday, it might be used, in search, or in other additional themes.
