Help From Unexpected Places

[ #18684 ]

Oracle. Trying to partition a table by range on a TIMESTAMP column.

Doesn't work. Weird ORA errors. Very weird. "Not yet implemented". Huh?

Extensive Googling. No examples. No answers. Despair.

Asking on mailing lists. No solutions.

More Googling. At last, this page comes up:
http://www7.big.or.jp/~pinball/discus/oracle/61527.html

And my day is saved. I am amazed.

  • and I chose those days to not read journal entries..

I think this link [oracle.com] might also help.. (it's a technet article, so you'll need to sell your soul/login).
