Between jobs and Wx developments

[ #908 ]
It's been a while since I wrote in my journal. Since my last writing I got a few people asking me whether or not the book is a go now. Honestly, I don't know, but I suspect a yes. I promised to send in a renewed proposal, which I just finished and mailed. OK, I admit: this time I was late. ;-)

Now I have to wait for their response...I did decide however that if they disappoint me again, I'm going to send gnat an email. If I didn't misread his last journal he's interested in good ideas for books...;-)

Last Friday I finally finished my job at 2organize. I have 1 week off before I start my new job at Lunatech, which is something I'm really looking forward to! But the week off too!

Tuesday I'm going to give a little presentation about pVoice before a small group of speech therapists at my daughter's school. I've also setup a pVoice mailinglist for people who are interested in the development of pVoice and related programs.

I hope people start working on a Mac port of wxPerl soon. And I hope the POE::Kernel::Wx will be finished soon too (according to a mail from Scott Beck he's working on it!)
