MacBook - test 1
So my soon to be brother-in-law asked me whether I had checked that my new MacBook did not have the same fault as my PowerBook - I was so busy installing updates that I hadn't checked that out, so as soon as the machine was done doing what it was doing I tried to but it to sleep and wake it up - and it w0rked!
WOHOO!
So now I have a long TODO list ahead of me of moving all my stuff from the PowerBook to the MacBook so I can get the PowerBook handed in for repairs.
- Installation of PostgreSQL
- Installation of SQL-Ledger
- Installation of mini-cpan and CPAN
- Installation of Komodo and BBedit
- Installation of Fink and FinkCommander
- Installation of misc. dashboard applets
I am considering using the Migration Assisitant I have no idea however if this piece of software works?
And of course I have to find Intel compatible pieces of software for most of the apps.
