Co(de|nf)-a-thon coming up

[ #28542 ]

We plan to have a new code-a-thon in the Copenhagen Perl Mongers, our homepage is suffering, so we came up with this preliminary list and it looks a lot more like a Conf-a-thon :)

  • os install (FreeBSD? 6?)
  • web server install (apache? 2?)
  • blog software install (wordpress?)
  • wiki software install (kwiki?)
  • calender software (code?)/install
  • auth integration with bitcard ?
  • svn server install + migration of existing repos?

Good to see that there is so much good and usable software available.

Suggestions for other interesting things are more than welcome...

  • I've seen some nasty edge cases exposed with Kwiki migrations.

As much as I dislike PHP, Mediawiki does a great a job and I can't avoid recommending it over its competition.

The other requirements look very cool to me. When do you plan to integrate them all?
    • I use MediaWiki myself and I must admit that I am impressed with it. But anyway a Wiki is a wIkI (or WiKi) and actually I am one of the suckers who bought the book [amazon.com] - what a mistake :-/
