Clean Slate

[ #28111 ]

I have had some problems with my old PowerBook after installing Tiger as mentioned earlier in my journal.

With this in mind I decided not to copy my $HOME directory instead I am picking the stuff I need and I decided to set up Mail.app manually (not using the old preferences).

This is quite and opportunity to make clean slate for a lot of things, so I will be going through mailinglists etc. to see whether it is still necessary for me to be subscribed to these and at the same time I will be going through what journals here on use.perl I am following - I do not have the time to following all of these so I might have to cut down on my information fixes.

At the same time I have decided to go through all of my directories filled with source code, some of this stuff will be put in CVS other stuff in /dev/null.
