Nordic Perl Workshop 2004

[ #15614 ]

My friend Claes (or Mr. hehe) told me yesterday that they are not suited for hosting the NPW next year in Stockholm. I was looking forward to going to Stockholm, I might have to come up with another excuse.

But that is not stopping the second Nordic Workshop :)

We are now aiming at repeating the event in Copenhagen (together with to the extent possible as this year).

At the same time its a good thing:

- We did not get the YAPC::Europe 2004, so now we have a lot of energy to put in the workshop
- We can practice for hosting the YAPC::Europe 2004, if we are applying again
- We can make a better workshop than last yeah since we have done it before

So now comes the hard part, getting the show on the road, we have to compete a bit with the NORDU conference, which has both Allison Randal and Dan Sugalski...

But lets see, we are aiming for late march and NORDU is in January.

WOHOO! I cannot wait 8-)
