In a job posting for Perl Expert for Quantitative Finance Group I came across the following "Desired Skills":
  • Spreadsheet::WriteExcel and Spreadsheet::ParseExcel
  • Proficiency in C++
  • Experience with Mathematics, Statistics, or Finance
  • Excel macro programming

It is strange to think that knowledge of a module that I wrote might be condsidered a "desired skill".
