So many of my devoted fans have asked: jjohn, how can we host parties that as rawkin' as yours? To which I say: you need the right music (where "right" means a Japanese cover of a Chris Cross song).

  • I can't tell what language the lyrics are in, but I know it's not Japanese; nor, for that matter, Korean or Mandarin. There's too many odd diphthongs (ao's, iw's, etc), and too many closed syllables (like "yat"). Could be Thai, Lao, Viet, maybe Cantonese for all I know.

    But it's a good thing I can't tell exactly what language it's in -- it would bring me dangerously close to understanding the lyrics.

    I wish I could say I didn't understand the language that this horror [livejournal.com] is in.
