So much sadness in the KOP

[ #17889 ]
I had not one, but *both* of my OSCON proposals rejected this year. This saddens me deeply, but life goes on, and so do the projects my proposals were based on. In any case, I'll still be heading out to the left coast for OSCON in July. Last year was a blast, and this year should be no different, other than the bill... :)

  • I'm really sorry to hear that - extproc_perl is just too cool and it's a shame it didn't get a slot.
    • I'm actually more disappointed for the Embedding Perl tutorial, since that was all new material. But that's okay -- I'll just drink more. ;-)
  • Sorry to hear that, but I'm glad you'll be coming anyway. After participating in the selection of talks for PHP, I can see how quality talks get cut. But, extproc_perl was my favorite Perl talk from last year. It's a shame it got cut.

    Would you consider a BOF?
