I just discovered Spammimic. This is the funniest thing I've seen in a long time and definitely needs to be a Perl module in the grand tradition of Acme::Bleach! Alas, they don't seem to explain how it works on the site. Put in a long enough message, though, and it sort of resembles the effects of those Acme modules. I'll bet anything this is Perl powered and was the original inspiration. Perhaps this is a real use for it. Thanks Damian! You really are serving as a catalyst! (And I thought he was just playing. :)
